Usage guide:

For convergence training:

Slide the aperture card with the single opening to the number one on the end of the ruler facing  you. Place the tip of your nose against the end of the ruler. Close your left eye. You should only be able to see the ball on the card. If necessary, move the aperture card slightly toward or away from you to acheive this result. Close your right eye. Your left eye can only see the cross. (Be sure that you are positioned so that the ruler is centered between your eyes.)

Look with both eyes and fuse the two targets into one target. The cross and the ball should be present at all times. The words “fuse into one” should be clear at all times.

For divergence training:

Slide the aperture card with the double openings to the number one on the end of the ruler facing you. Place the tip of your nose against the end of the ruler. Close your left eye. You should only be able to see the cross on the card. If necessary, move the aperture card slightly toward or away from you to acheive this result.
